Catherine hails originally from Northern Ireland. After secondary education in Belfast, she studied BA(Hons) European Business Studies in England.

She worked as an Independent Financial Adviser for AWD Chase de Vere in Bath and London before moving back to Northern Ireland to join a local accountancy practice. Latterly, she worked for Towry Law as a fee-based independent financial adviser.

During a career spanning more than 10 years, Catherine has held a variety of roles within each of the organisations she has worked for. She holds the Chartered Insurance Institute Diploma, with specific qualifications in Taxation & Trusts; Retirement Planning and Personal Financial Planning.

Catherine became a financial coach as she saw an opportunity to use her skills and experience to benefit a much wider range of people. Typically, clients are those who need guidance and help, not just, or instead of, conventional financial advice. She uses her in-depth knowledge and experience to demystify the world of personal finance and to give clients practical steps towards achieving their financial goals.

Catherine also regularly works alongside other professionals such as accountants, solicitors and business coaches to help clients resolve their financial issues.

She works with her clients in a variety of ways, including on a one-to-one basis; group sessions and running workshops for a variety of organisations and businesses.
