financial coaching…
empowering people in money mattersAbout Wise Monkey Financial Coaching
Our mission is:
- to demystify the world of finance;
- relieve you of stress relating to your financial worries and
- help you use your resources effectively so that you can get more out of life.
Wise Monkey’s financial coaching has been designed to offer value, regardless of your level of income. The service is purely fee-based: we do not sell financial products or receive any commission/payment from third parties. We use an approach that is both intuitive and non-judgmental, employing a blend of coaching methods that are proven to bring about lasting personal change.
Wise Monkey Financial Coaching was founded by Simonne Gnessen in March 2002. Feeling constrained by the traditional model of financial advice, Simonne broke new ground by designing a completely different type of service – one that focuses on empowering people in money matters.
Simonne developed the idea of offering financial coaching to use her skills and experience to benefit people who need guidance, but who don’t necessarily need traditional financial advice.
Wise Monkey has been featured in many newspapers and magazines, including: The Financial Mail On Sunday, The Times, The Telegraph, The Independent, The Daily Express, Which? magazine, Psychologies, Red, She, Zest, Glamour, Woman’s Own, Woman & Home, The Scotsman, Brighton Insight, Brighton Rocks and The Argus. She has also been interviewed on BBC News 24's weekly personal finance slot 'It's Your Money' and BBC radio.
